What is Physical Education....?
There are many ways to describe Physical Education. Physical Education is the study of physical activity and/or human movement. Through physical education, individuals can potentially expand their life expectancy. Physical education helps us understand how the body functions when it is active. Without question, through movement, it helps us maintain a healthy body and lifestyle.
Physical education has existed for many years and still today, we see physical education breathing the lives of everyone. In fact, physical education is a wonderful way to have fun with your significant others while at the same time, everyone are melting fat away from their bodies. In fact, physical education lowers the rates of the following categories: high blood pressure, coronary heart disease, strokes, diabetes, colon, breast cancer, and depression. If one would be physically inactive, the categories I mentioned above could potentially happen to anyone. So, you see, we must embrace physical education not because we have to, but because it is fun and it brings the joy and competitiveness of one.
The great thing regarding physical education is that you are burning fat away while you are having fun playing your favorite traditional or nontraditional activity. There are two types of intensities (intensity is the rate in which the activity is being performed.): moderate (easy) and vigorous (hard). Examples of moderate physical activities are the following: walking, jogging, household chores etc. Examples of vigorous physical activities are the following: running, swimming, cycling, lifting heavy loads etc. These two types of intensities of physical activities can bring healthy benefits such as the categories I mentioned above. Ages 5-18 should demonstrate 30 to 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity daily. In fact students, amounts of physical activity for more than 60 minutes offers everyone more health benefits.
